I love making doilies in to bowls/ candle holders/ etc. etc. This is the second time I am giving this DIY a try and I think I nailed it! The first time they weren't so sturdy. I didn't follow a specific tutorial I read a lot of them and I went on doing my own thing. If you want to make your own you can find tutorials here and here

Latin Party

On Saturday night I went out with friends. Katerina had invited all of us to a Latin party that her dance school Cubania Dancehouse was organizing. I had a great time and took a few pictures. Don't worry there will be no dancing from my part!

Something blue!

I found this beautiful metallic yarn at Xeirotexnika back in November and since then I was going back and forth on what to crochet with it. At first I though making some bracelets. But as time passed and the days are getting bigger and brighter I started thinking of the sea and summer. So I decided to go for a small envelope like evening purse with buttons. It will be available in etsy soon.Hope you like it!

P.S.:  The metallic yarn you can find it here. Erial is a great shop owned by a young couple. You can find very unique craft supplies and attend various craft seminars. The owners and the teachers are very friendly and make you feel at home. 

Monday's find

Ok, this is not actually a new find. I've been following this blog for quite some time now. But from all the things I've read and took inspiration from this post is the best!!! I don't know what is is exactly that appeals to me but I'm in love. Darn, why haven't I thought of that!

   During the weekend I always go internet free. I prefer to spend my time with my family and friends or go for craft supplies search. As a result on Monday morning I have a lot of catching up to do with my mails and social media updates. I always find something new and interesting-a new artist, a new shop or a new blog.
