So we are getting close to Christmas if you didn't notice....This year I have been asked to participate in 3 different bazaars. The first one is for our island community here in Athens. I will be making the candy for the christmas cookie houses!! And I have to get started right about yesterday!!! They need many different shapes so I have alot of work to do. I found this lovely recipe that is actually very easy to make. I have allready tried it and i am very excited!!! The other two are being conducted by the dog shelter i go to. I am going to make them truffes, muffins and hopefully gingerbread cookies .... So my new nickname should be the candy lady :) ... I will try and post pictures and the recipes for you to see!! Any ideas will be greatly appriciated!!!
One small update on my healthier lifestyle. I started a new exercise regime 'take the stairs'. I don't want to start the gym yet and i am trying to find different ways to put exercise in to my life. So...i read this article and found it very interesting... I don't have to buy a machine i just use the stairs everywhere i go. I have set a goal for my self 10 floors a day... But I notice that I do at least 20. I think i need a journal to monitor my self!! I cruise the internet to find a DIY!!
Progress
It's been a week and a half since i started my new eating habits and it's going great so far!!! I did the three day plan and after that i had a break because i was sick and i needed alot of soup. The three days plan went well i managed to keep up with it but i don't see myself repeating it more that once a month. Since Tuesday - been sick free- i started my normal eating plan i have from a doctor. I am following all the meals up to now and it's easy. i have decised not to use the scales. I actually don't have one at my new flat even though I am tempeted to find one ASAP. I think it's best to keep away from the scales for now. i get crazy about the numbers and lose track of the actuall point of this effort. To be healthier.. I haven't started my exercise programme yet but hopefully next week will. So i'll try to write more here. As it seems to help me alot...
Day 3...
So I have managed to get to day 3 of my eating plan. I found this through a friend of mine...who got it on the internet... Yes, i know!!! Never do this kind of thing through the internet... But I got curious!! It promised to loose 4 kilos in 3 days... So it was kind of an experiment... I always been to a specialist when I wanted to loose some weight so I know what to eat what not... Even though I don't do that often :) The bad thing is that I have a nasty cold... Hope staying at home and taking some mild syrop will actually make it go away !!If not Monday morning i am going to the doctor's...
So this is me!!! how I look now... I am at the dog shelter with my friend Ziva as you can see... She is a rescued dog looking for a new family!!! She is such a sweet dog!!! She loves to cuddle and give kisses!!! We were trying to take her pictures for the adoption form but she didn't stay still for a moment... only when i hold her like that and talk to her...

Birthday.....
It's been so long from the last time a posted something here... But life has been so full lately that I had no time to think the changes that happen even more to have time to write things down... Leaving on my own has been amazing so far!!! I love my new apartment!!! I love every single thing about it... even the little things that don't work properly...because it's MY flat :)
After having this dream of mine come true. Having my own space, i was thinking what will be my next step...

In 20/10 was my birthday so my new goal for this year is to be healthier!!! Loose some weight and a lot of exercise!!! Hopefully at 15/11/2012 i can take part at the 5k marathon if not running at least walking. I know it's an ambitious goal but I will try!! I'll try to post more about this journey of mine..

Moving!!!
I can't believe i am moving!!! My first flat!!! My first time ever been on my own..... I can't even beginning to discribe how i feel. After a lot of searching I found the perfect flat in the perfect price....the plan is moving my clothes buying a bed and the electrical devices and the rest will come slowly...I don't want to rush!!! I want to live for some time in my flat before I start decorating...so I'll be without internet for a while.
