Inspiration

I've been using Shock Stop for some time now.
I normally use it on shocks that I make for the dog shelter I volunteer.
We sell them at the annual bazaar. They are quite a success!!

Here this kind of shocks are very expensive and the designs are limited.
Yesterday I found this post about other ways you can use this paint and it got me thinking.
Why not use it to make a T-Shirt???
I normally use fabric paint but I decided to give it a try.
I'm in love with the result. It is really easy to use.
The bottle has a pointy cap so you don't have to use a brush.
You only have to be a little careful when you squeeze the bottle so you can adjust the flow.

Hope you like it!

Shop

If you have noticed I have added another page.
A Shop.
After a year of thought, anxiety and back and forth decisions.
I have decided to go for it and open a etsy shop.
I haven't added all the products but I wanted to take one step at a time.
I don't know what will came of this but just doing this makes me feel great!

Morning fog

Here in Athens fog is very rare.
So imagine my surprise when I wake up to this....

Now the fog has cleared and we have a beautiful sunny morning!

On resolutions

As we are in the middle of February I wanted to talk a little about my resolutions for this year.
I decided not to do a list with a lot of things. I just thought what is really important to me and go for that.
So I ended up with two resolutions:
a) Being strong
b) Become debt-free
The last 6 months of 2013 I realised that I am soooo weak. I walked a little further from the usual and I got all tired. Ι had to move things and I felt weak. So after a thorough search I decided to join a gym and start some personal training. It's been a month now... On a scale from 1 to 10 I'm a -2.I won't say it's easy or a walk in the park. But I'm so happy doing this. Making baby steps on being stronger and I have come to love this time Ι spend in the gym. I even have a treat waiting for me when I hit the 6 months mark!
As for being debt-free... well this is a sad story. I haven't made any progress at all. I think I'm doing worse.
So I decided to take more action came March.
I will keep you posted on my progress!
What your resolutions and have you kept them so far?

Hand made phone case #part 2

After finishing the first case I had an epiphany!
If I crochet the case differently, I won't have to make seams on the sides.
So I started fresh to make a new one.
I love how the ears don't have the exact same size!
My phone looks so cute  now and I get a lot of compliments!

p.s.: it seems lately I am experiencing a crochet fever!

Hand made Phone Case

I have a serious problem finding cute cases for my phone.
 I have a Samsung Galaxy S4.
So I decided to make one on my own.
This design you have probably seen it a lot.
I didn't use a specific tutorial.
But what can I say...I love cases that resemble dogs or cats depends on how you look at it!

Handmade neck warmer

I have a lot of  scarfs and scarves but sometimes I don't want to wear something bulky or long.
So I decided to make a neck warmer that hugs the neck.
The edge of the neck warmer is scalloped.
I used a silver button to give it a more sophisticated look.
I love it because it keeps my neck warm but it also gives a different style to simple black or monochrome blouses.
I love using light colour during winter especially in scarfs and hats.

Hope you like it as much as I do.
I think I'm going to make a few more!

Nails Nails Nails #2

Not the best of photos but it will have to do.
I went for a much lighter colour this time.
I love dark colours but sometimes I get tired of them.
